Nicknamed Shark Girl, she is a nautical videographer and filmmaker behind underwater films advocating for the protection and conservation of sharks. Her films became the subject of the Smithsonian channel documentary Shark Girl. Growing up adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef, she was twelve when she first began scuba diving.
