Known best for her chart-topping 1991 hit "Tender Kisses," this rhythm & blues vocalist and songwriter also released numerous other popular singles, including "Save Your Love," "This House," and "Love Me." After winning a 1980s edition of Star Search with her rendition of Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know," she was offered a Capitol Records contract.
