Known by the stage name King Soloman, he is a Christian rapper with the hip-hop group Hostyle Gospel. He and Raynard Glass formed the group originally as a duo in 2003. Born in Danville, Illinois, he grew up in Rantoul, Illinois where he met up with future group member Raynard, AKA Proverb The Preacher Man, at Rantoul Township High.
