Iraqi man who has served as an emir of the Islamic extremist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. He is considered a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. State Department, who issued a $10 million reward for information leading to his capture or death in 2011. Until 2004, he lived in a room attached to mosque in the impoverished neighborhood of Tobchi.
