Bio:
Scottish singer and actress best recognized for her portrayal of Sister Bernadette, or Shelagh Turner, in the BBC1 drama Call the Midwife. She also held recurring roles as D.C. Alison Bain in Murder City and Rebecca Howlett in The Mill. After beginning work in musical theatre at the wee age of eleven, she went to university for art history.
