Australian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work as a member of the psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, contributing vocals, harmonica, keyboards, saxophone, and percussion. He has also performed as the lead vocalist, harmonica player, and creative mind behind the garage rock band The Murlocs, whose albums have earned widespread critical acclaim and placement on the ARIA music charts. He grew up in the cities of Castlemaine and Ocean Grove. He received early exposure to music as his father was an experienced musician. He became an accomplished skateboarder during his youth before joining King Gizzard around the age of 17 after seeing one of their early shows.
