English keyboardist known for being a founding member of the band formed in 1968 called Yes. He has since been a member of a variety of other bands, and has come in and out of being active in the music industry. He was trained as a concert pianist before learning to play the keyboard in other genres. He attended Leicester Art College to study advertising and design.
