Director famous for being half of the directing duo known as "The Daniels," also including Daniel Kwan. Together, the pair have directed, produced, and written several massively popular and award-winning films, including Everything Everywhere All at Once and Swiss Army Man. They also directed a number of short films and music videos, most notably including the video for DJ Snake and Lil Jon's 2013 hit Turn Down for What. He regularly posts promotions for his upcoming films to his daniels Twitter account, which currently hosts over 60,000 followers. He graduated from Emerson College, where he met future partner Daniel Kwan as well as actress and dancer Sunita Mani, who would later star in their music video for Turn Down for What. He and Kwan began directing music videos in 2011, and co-founded the group We Direct Music Videos in 2018. Their expansion to feature films began in 2016, with the well-received surrealist comedy-drama Swiss Army Man.
