Actor known for his role as Lt. Commander Bortus in the Fox/Hulu series The Orville. He played Reverend Isiah Ott in the series Bosch. He also appeared in series like Law & Order, Dexter, The Shield, Shameless, Without a Trace and Supernatural. He was cast in the film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. He attended North Community High School, where he acted in school plays. He later attended the San Francisco Art Institute and the Yale University School of Drama, where he earned a master's degree in acting.
