American folk singer-songwriter who co-founded the Americana string band Old Crow Medicine Show. He released his debut solo album, Folk Singer Vol. 1, in 2014. He went on to portray The Kid in Joel and Ethan Coen's Western anthology film The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.' He listened to the Rolling Stones and Neil Young during his youth.
