American actor, body transformation expert, and exercise science educator, known for his role as Grover Dill in 'A Christmas Story (1983) as a child actor. He also had roles in Better Off Dead (1985), The Blue Iguana (1988), and the music video for the song "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen.' In 1976, his family moved from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California. Once there, his mother enrolled him and his sister in drama school and took them to auditions.
