American bluegrass musician known for his collaboration with country singer and songwriter Luke Combs, the 2021 single "The Great Divide." He released his first solo album, Turmoil and Tinfoil, in 2017. He won a Grammy Award for his sophomore album, Home. Although he's known as a bluegrass musician, he spent his teens playing in rock bands.
