Puerto Rican poet and children's book author who is known for his books "The Crazy Bunch", "The Essential Hits of Shorty Bon Bon" and "Smoking Lovel." His work has appeared in the New York Times magazine and the Washington Post. He attended school at Friends Seminary. His first book "Where a Nickel Costs a Dime" was published in 1996.
