Renowned chef, restauranteur and TV personality known as the "Godfather of Poke." He's credited as a founding contributor of Pacific rim cuisine. He graduated from the Kapiolani Community College culinary arts program. His first culinary job was at the Turtle Bay Hotel in Oahu, and he also worked at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in NYC.
