Rose to fame as a Georgia Republican junior US Senator. She was appointed in 2019, and later participated in the 2020/2021 US Senate run-off' after coming in second in the November 2020 election. She graduated with a degree in marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She later earned her MBA from DePaul University.
