Politician who has served as a US Senator from Georgia as a Republican beginning in 2015. He assumed the role of senior Senator following the retirement of Johnny Isakson in December 2019.' He started college at the US Air Force Academy before transferring to Georgia Tech. He gained his engineering bachelor's and master's degrees from the school in 1972 and 1975.
