Prominent politician who was elected Mayor of the 7th arrondissement of Paris in March 2008. She also spent time as the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice and as a Member of the European Parliament. She earned a master's degree in economics from the University of Burgundy and a law degree from Panth on-Assas University.
