Irish actor and writer who is best known for playing the role of Roose Bolton in the HBO series Game of Thrones in both season 2 and season 6.' With a passion for acting early on, he began studying at Terenure College. Afterwards, he attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1987. He went on to star in his first credited role in The Loser in 1990 as the role of Eddie.
