Japanese-American actress who earned her first series regular role in the TV adaptation of 10 Things I Hate About You in 2009. Her next series regular role would be for the TBS comedy Wrecked as Jess, and she would also appear in the Netflix series Dear White People. She was a singer and keyboardist for an all-girl band called The Valli Girls.
