Guitarist who plays for the band Portugal, the Man, he became paralyzed from the waist down in 2007 after falling down a 12-foot-deep pit at a construction site near a friend's house. He broke multiple vertebrae and severed his spine. He played guitar for The Lashes at the time of his fall.
