Ant nio Carlos Silva is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the heavyweight division of the UFC, and previously at super heavyweight. Heavyweight MMA fighter who has earned the name "Big Foot" for his daunting physical appearance and accomplishments in the super-heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. He won the EliteXC heavyweight championship for the first time in July 2008. He began training in karate at age 4. After earning his black belt in the art at age 12, he began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo at age 17.
