Known for his political service in Rhodesia (later re-named Zimbabwe), this British anti-communist activist headed the International Monarchist League and also led charitable organizations such as the Good Hope Christian Group and the Zimbabwe-Rhodesia Relief Fund. In his early adulthood years, he participated in Protestant missionary work in the southern region of Africa. After relocating to Rhodesia, he began serving in the country's legislative assembly as a member of the Rhodesian Front party.
