Known for such works as Posterior Analytics, The Cambridge Companion to Aristotle, and Coffee with Aristotle, this academic and ancient philosophy expert taught at Oxford University, the University of Geneva, and the University of Paris-Sorbonne. After graduating from Balliol College, Oxford, he published his first scholarly work, The Ontological Argument.
