After rising to fame for her role as Priyanka Sethi on the Disney Channel-India television series Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, Rasputra starred as Anandi on the Colors TV series Balika Vadhu. Early in her career, she appeared in a commercial for an Indian dairy co-op.
