Initially famous as the winner of the third season of X Factor Italy, he went on to release a hit single titled "Dove si vola," as well as a certified Gold album titled Solo 2.0. He received numerous MTV Italian Music Awards and an MTV Europe Music Award. Popular on social media he has earned over 1.2 million Twitter followers. In 2009, he auditioned successfully for the X Factor by performing a cover version of the Eduardo De Crescenzo hit "Uomini semplici."
