Country musician during the 1940s and 1950s who was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. His song "What Kinda Deal Is This" charted at #4. He started out performing in the 1920s on local radio stations before releasing his solo debut single, "Rattlesnake Daddy," in 1933.
