The daughter of award-winning author and screenwriter, Dias Gomes, she had a career as a novelist, journalist, and media personality. Her published works include One Thousand and One Nights of Silence and Dias Gomes (a 2002 collection of interviews given by her famous father). She wrote her debut novel, Fugala a, when she was just 16 years old and it was published when she was 19. Later, she began working as a music writer for a prominent Brazilian newspaper.
