Malaysian politician who was a elected to Parliament in 2008 and served as Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) for Selangor. He is the first Menteri Besar not to have been a member of United Malays National Organisation. Before entering politics, he was the CEO of Pemodalan Nasional Berhad from 1979 to 1994 and CEO of Malaysianized Guthrie from 1995 to 2003.
