Japanese actor and singer who won a Japanese Academy Award in the Best Actor category for his role in the 2003 film, T.R.Y. In 2011, he appeared in Andalusia: Revenge of the Goddess. He began his career in the 1980s, when he garnered attention for his role in the 1989 television series, Mama Haha Boogie.
