Best known as being a contestant on the competition reality TV show The Voice. He appeared during the series' 9th season in the fall of 2015. He had begun a career as a solo country artist prior to his The Voice audition. In 2010, he won the vocal competition at the Gospel Music Association's music intensive in Nashville, Tennessee.
