Singer and songwriter known for the release of her debut self-titled album in 2009, the following year she took two Na Hoku Hanohano awards for Most Promising Artist and Contemporary Album of the Year. Her second album, For Love, was funded by her fans through Kickstarter and released in 2012. She taught herself to play guitar while attending boarding school. She was always thirsty for the spotlight, working as an anchor for her school news, hosting variety shows for local television stations, and performing in school musicals.
