Estonian poet, author, and translator known for Loomingus, Kuukressid, and other poetic works. Also a writer of children's books and plays, she is known for such titles as Turvas and Pilli-Tiidu. She lived with her mother and sister in St. Petersburg, Russia until the Russian Revolution hastened her family's 1917 return to Estonia.
