Contestant on King of the Nerds, triathlete, and Planetary Protection Engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. After graduating from Hampton University with a BS in physics, she earned her Masters and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at Drexel University. She then moved to California to begin working at JPL.
