Competed as a member of Team Adam on the seventh season of The Voice in 2014. Since his appearance on the reality show, he has cultivated his audience by posting song covers to his I Am Damien YouTube channel. His singing career began as a child performing in his father's church. Then, into college, he took a left turn when he began to study opera.
