Famous as the frontman of the three member English band In Hindsight, Newcombe helped his music group accumulate twenty five thousand Twitter followers and twelve thousand Facebook likes by early 2015. He launched his music career in 2011, when he was just sixteen years old. His band released its debut EP, You Want Me, in 2015.
