The winner of the International Baroque Singing Competition of 2003, this Brazilian-born countertenor is notable for his performances at the Zurich Opera; the Tanglewood Music Festival; and the Aldeburgh Festival. After earning his bachelor's degree in music from South Carolina's College of Charleston, he received his graduate degree from Massachusetts' New England Conservatory.
