After earning Mexican MTV Award nominations for her roles in the films Sin Ton Ni Sonia and Punos Rosas, Suarez received an International Emmy Award nomination for her role as Aurelia Sosa in the HBO Latin America series Capadocia. Early in her career, she appeared in several telenovelas, including La Casa del Naranjo and Todo por Amor.
