Famous for founding India's Sikhya Entertainment film production house and for heading another production company, Anurag Kashyap Films, she produced such major feature films as The Lunchbox (2013) and Peddlers (2012). After earning a bachelor's degree in communications from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, she worked on the 2007 Vic Sarin film Partition.
