Notable as a central defender with the Maccabi Tel Aviv and Israel national soccer teams, Tibi also played for the Charleroi, Ironi Kiryat Shmona, and Beitar Jerusalem football clubs. He played his youth career for both Maccabi Netanya and Beitar Haifa before going pro at the age of nineteen.
