An American actress and acting coach,who rose to fame after appearing in the 1947 comedy short Brideless Groom. After a permanent foot injury, she became an acting teacher, working closely with The Three Stooges. She studied acting in New York City and performed on several stage plays before starring in her first film Honeymoon Ahead.
