Perhaps most well known for her portrayal of Sandra in the popular British comedy series The Liver Birds, she is also notable for her recurring role as Megan Roberts in the 1980s series The District Nurse. After completing her acting training at Rose Bruford College, she made her television debut in a 1963 episode of Dixon of Dock Green.
