Twentieth-century British Modernist poet and painter who is best remembered for his long poem "The Anathemata." His other works include "In Parenthesis" and "Cara Wallia Derelicta." He knew he wanted to be an artist from the age of six. His parents, recognizing his talent, enrolled him in Camberwell Art School.
