British television host, motorsports journalist and former race car driver most famous for co-hosting the shows Top Gear and Fifth Gear. He has also narrated several documentaries on the Discovery Channel and written columns for Auto Express magazine. He earned a degree in Civil Engeineering from City University, London. He later competed in the British Formula One Series and British Rallycross Grand Prix.
