Became head coach of the Houston Texans in 2014 after serving as head coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2012 to 2013; named Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2012 while also receiving the Paul "Bear" Bryant Award for the NCAA's top head coach. He played defensive end and linebacker at Brown University from 1990 to 1992.
