Actor most well known for portraying rap superstar Dr. Dre in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton. He also made his popular debut in the William Shakespeare adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in 2014. Before college he attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Thereafter, he attended the prestigious institution Juilliard and received the John Houseman Award for excellence in classical theater.
