Younger sister of NBA MVP Stephen Curry and Duke basketball alumnus Seth Curry who is an athlete herself. She enrolled at Elon University and joined the indoor volleyball player team. She was a four-year starter and three-year captain for her high school volleyball team in North Carolina. She is a four-time CISAA All-Conference selection and three-time NCISAA All-State selection.
