Rap vocalist most widely known as a member of the multicultural band Los 5. The band first rose to fame for their single "Mexico" released in 2014 and followed with "Ma ana" in May 2015. He and bandmate Juan Pablo Casillas grew up attending rivaling high schools in Colorado. The pair didn't truly meet, however, until Matt had moved to Hollywood to pursue acting.
