British actor who became known for his role of Archie Mitchell on the BBC soap opera, EastEnders, and also starred in many stage plays since the 70's. He was born in London and later worked in the oil industry in Canada and Libya. While living in Canada, he performed with the famous Stratford Festival and began his acting career in the theatre.
