Known best as a writer and star of the Brigham Young University web and television series Studio C, Meese was partially responsible for his popular show's well over 1 million YouTube views. In 2013, he received a Rocky Mountain Emmy nomination. Before launching Studio C, he and his fellow cast members belonged to a BYU sketch group called Divine Comedy.
