Best known as the co-founder of the English progressive rock group Anathema, this guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter also performed with such United Kingdom bands as Antimatter and Leafblade. His albums with Anathema include Serenades, The Silent Enigma, and Eternity. While growing up, he was inspired by the music of Queen, Dire Straits, and Iron Maiden.
